Robert Watkins

Robert began his association with the Bridge Partnership in early 2007 and has since worked on international assignments in the UK, Germany, Dubai and Australia. Clients include Tesco UK, Unilever (global) and Diageo Australia.  Robert has used the unique Bridge methodology in global culture change programs and developing leadership capacity with organisations facing unique market challenges and unprecedented change.

Robert began his career in Sydney and London in financial futures and options trading and broking.  During this time he gained an applied understanding of economics (which built on his B.Comm from UNSW) and first hand experience of a competitive, performance driven culture and dynamic whole industry transformation. Human behaviour in heightened marketplace conditions fascinated him and whilst there he began studying applied psychology.

In 1999 Robert moved into consulting for Body in Mind in London, where he specialised in developing leadership and team culture in organisations such as SAP, GartnerGroup, American Express, Andrews Sykes and the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

In 2003 Robert moved back to Sydney and set up his own consultancy which specialises in transforming individuals and organisations. During this time he completed a 4 year diploma in psychotherapy and has continued to apply psychology to his business consulting, especially with leadership team dynamics. Robert was on the ATO executive coaching panel, has practised psychotherapy in private practice and has written several articles on human behaviour for WellBeing Magazine.  Clients include Macquarie Bank, MPB, Sinclair Knight Mertz and the NSW State Government (with Harris Smith and Associates).
