Public Sector - Education
Education is the ticket to opportunity and prosperity, and education reform is a priority in almost every country in the world. While some countries have made progress, performance remains static in many school systems that have hardly moved, despite increased spending.
By bringing together knowledge and experience of the international education sector with our expertise in supporting the world’s major organisations, we have developed four areas of work to help transform the education sector:
- Developing teachers and head teachers to be the best mentors and tutors.
The available evidence suggests that the main driver in student learning is the quality of the teachers and headteachers. We focus on improving this quality through focused leadership development. - Enabling pupils to create the motivation, self esteem and ownership to learn.
This will help close the attainment gap by engaging the least motivated 30% of the school population. - Ensuring the whole system works together to provide the best possible opportunities.
Schools and businesses together delivering economies of scale, transfer of practice and innovation. - Facilitating relationships that support learning between pupils, families and schools.
In too many education systems, children feel they are being processed impersonally, without supportive relationships. We work in a way to strengthen all relationships within a system.
